You said that your intention for it was to be a song and it could work well. The words "Come on can't you see what you mean to me" would work well as the 3rd or last line in the verse.The harmonies are lovely.
It needs an introduction. The first 16 beats could work well as a verse but I think they would need some music in between verses. I love the breaks at the end.
